Abstract


The reaction of the activated cluster [Os3(CO)10(NCMe)2] with 1,3,5-tris(mercaptomethyl)benzene as ligand, gave compound [{Os3(?-H)(CO)10}3{1,3,5-(?-SCH2)3C6H3}], as the sole identifiable product. The cluster has been fully characterized by IR, 1H and 13C NMR spectroscopy, HR-MS, X-ray crystallography and cyclic voltammetry.
